2025 Grass Futurity Competition
Each year, cattle producers across Idaho come together to showcase their skills in genetics and cattle management. The Grass Futurity competition, now in its 13th year, offers both a fun challenge and a way to support important initiatives that benefit the Idaho cattle industry.Competition details:
- Begins May 1st and runs through the summer, lasting 4 months
- Top gainers will receive monthly prizes
- Overall winners will be awarded cash and exciting prizes
- Entry fee is the steer you enter
- Over the past 12 years, participants have helped raise more than $500,000 to support:
- Cattle Action Legal Fund
- Political Action Committee
- Beef Counts
- Fire disaster relief efforts
Funds raised contribute to vital initiatives that reinforce and support the Idaho cattle industry.

To validate your entry, please download the print entry form and email it to [email protected] or mail it to the Idaho Cattle Association at PO Box 15397, Boise, Idaho, 83715. Additionally, forms will be mailed to ICA members.
