Zoetis will contribute to the Cattle Association Legal Fund for each documented dose of Zoetis vaccines, implants, and EAZI Breed CIDR used by Idaho cattle producers, including Dectomax, Valbazen, Lutalyse, Factrel, and antimicrobials.  Donations will be made in the name of the producer.  Contributions to CALF will be qualified after a copy of receipts of product are submitted to Idaho Cattle Association, P.O. Box 15397, Boise, Idaho 83715 or dawn@idahocattle.org for purchases made between August 1, 2015 and November 10, 2016.

Cover Crop Pasture Exchange


Whatever the circumstances may be, pasture demand is in short supply.  Throughout the state, cattle producers are impacted by drought, wildfire, and competition for high-value irrigation ground to provide ample pasture for their livestock herds.  

This webpage is meant to serve as an exchange amongst farmers who may wish to plant annual cover crop for grazing, and cattle producers who are int he market for renting pasture.  This relationship can be mutually beneficial for both the landowner and cattleman.

Cover crops can provide many soil benefits while producing an additional source of income for the operation.  Please see the resource links below:

If you are interested in planting cover crops for grazing, or simply wish to graze volunteer crops, crop aftermath, winter wheat, or any pasture you are not utilizing, you can sign up here to be a part of a confidential database available only to livestock producers who have expressed interest in leasing seasonal grazing ground.
